The show choir at Heights High!

Singers is an audition only SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) choral ensemble whose repertoire emphasizes music of the last 150 years. Skills taught include tone production, voice placement, note and rhythm reading and general vocal techniques. Many pieces will include movement and dance routines in addition to singing. 
Singers perform at numerous community and school events and present a major concert each semester. Singers may also participate in joint activities of the music department. ​Successful participation in the course requires attendance/participation in all activities: daily classes, afternoon or evening rehearsals and concerts.  This class requires a dance and vocal audition and is offered to students in grades 10-12.
